Update Your License/Account
- Updates may take 7-10 business days.
- If you update your primary address and you want a license with the updated address, you must order a duplicate license.
- Address changes are immediate.
Online
- Log in to your firm account.
- You will be redirected to Secure Access Washington (SAW).
- Access our service Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Land Surveyors (BRPELS).
- Your existing firm license must be linked to your account to make any changes to the firm license.
- If your account is not already linked, you must link existing business and request an activation code. If you do not receive the activation code, email our office.
- You will receive a confirmation email.

- Updates sent by mail may take 2-4 weeks to be received and processed. Any update requiring fees may take longer.

Order a Duplicate License or Wall Certificate
Online
To request a duplicate license or wall certificate, log in to your firm account.
- At your account dashboard:
- Manage your existing business license.
- Select the name of your firm, then your firm license number.
- Select Print License or Request Duplicate Wall Certificate.

Duplicate hard copies of firm licenses cannot be requested by email. You must go online and pay a $5.00 print fee.
- Updates can take 7-10 business days.
- You will receive a confirmation email when your request is completed.

Update Designated Engineer/Designated Land Surveyor
Submit a new Change of Designated Engineer/Land Surveyor form and send it in to our office. The form must be emailed or mailed. No fee required.
